Trans Media

Transmedia narrative is the vanguard technique of conveying message, concepts, themes and stories to as mass audience through systemic and concerted use of multiple media platforms. The implementation is designed to engage audience members individually in an invitational and non-interruptive fashion, validating their involvement and positively reinforcing personal participation in the story.
The result of this kind of implementation is intense loyalty, multiple revenue streams, long-term engagement and a desire to share the experience. Additionally, transmedia narrative can extend the lifespan of a property well beyond typical windows, allowing a franchise to live perpetually through a variety of channels and experiences.


In transmedia narrative, the barriers of singular media such as a movies are broken, and it creates a platform of mythology that allows audiences to move effortlessly through multiple “entrypoints” in the story. These entrypoints create a unique and independent lifespan, but with a definite role in the overall narrative scheme of the branded story franchise.


Film Media


Film media will consist of the premiere Journey to Rainbow Island feature, presented in 3D animation. The feature film will follow the standard path of domestic theatrical release, home video (DVD, VOD and PPV), premium cable and broadcast television, as well as ancillary and international markets. Two additional feature films are anticipated to follow. The Company will further enhance the film media by developing and producing an animated TV series for all markets and supporting media through seasonal specials (such as Valentine’s Day in Rainbow Island, Halloween in Rainbow Island, Christmas in Rainbow Island, and Chinese New Year in Rainbow Island, etc.) which cater to established holiday themes internationally.

Digital Media


The Rainbow Island-branded story franchise will incorporate all of the following media.
An exciting new element that will expand and support the existing revenue streams of filmed media and licensing of goods is digital media. At this time digital media consist of three components.

Mobile Apps

Mobile technology is generally related to games and applications available on iPhones, iPads, mobile phones, smart phones, PDAs, handheld computers, and portable media players. It is estimated that over 50 percent of the global population currently owns a mobile device. By incorporating casual-gaming elements, mobility and ease of payment (billed directly to a mobile service provider), mobile technology is an ever-growing market and is expected to grow substantially over the next few years. The rise in mobile technology is most apparent in the phenomenon of the Apple iPhone, which currently offers more than 500,000 mobile apps and is growing daily.

Virtual Worlds

A Virtual World is a computer-based simulated environment intended for its users to inhabit and interact via avatars. These avatars are usually depicted as textual, two-dimensional or three-dimensional graphical representations, although other forms are possible. The three basic tenets of a Virtual World are social networking, gaming and education with the main revenue drivers of subscriptions, micro-transactions and sponsorship.

Social / Casual Games

Social games, such as Mafia Wars and FarmVille, are Web-based entertainment played on social networks like Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, Hi5 and Friendster. They are characterized by their general ease of use and addictive nature. Lazard Capital Markets analyst Colin Sebastian estimates that the worldwide online game market will surpass $15 billion in 2010, with more than $1 billion of that coming from the sale of virtual goods.
